LELO vs We-Vibe: Which Brand Is Better for Couples? (Warranties, Apps, Specs)

LELO and We-Vibe are two premium brands with large couples ranges. Both sell C-shaped couples vibrators, vibrating rings, remote-controlled bullets and wands, and both have companion apps. Their warranties, guarantees and fine print differ more than their marketing suggests.

This is a research-based comparison. Every fact comes from the brands' own product pages, manuals and policy pages, checked on 25 October 2026. We haven't hands-on tested these products, and we don't score "feel" or "power" because we can't measure them. See how we research.

The short version

Warranty: We-Vibe states a 2-year warranty on all toys.¹ LELO's product pages advertise a 2-year warranty plus a 10-year "quality guarantee", but the wording is inconsistent, and at least one LELO manual says 1 year. Details are below.⁵⁶
Try-it guarantee: We-Vibe has a 100-day Pleasure Guarantee. LELO has a 60-day Satisfaction Guarantee. Both pay out as store credit, not cash.²³
Apps: both brands have apps for app-enabled toys. We-Vibe's app has a dedicated long-distance section with chat and video calling.⁴ LELO's app combines device control with an articles library.⁵
Safety claims: LELO says its products meet ISO 3533, the international sex-toy safety standard.⁷⁸ We-Vibe's product pages list body-safe silicone and "free from phthalates and BPA" materials.⁹
Auto-off: LELO lists an automatic switch-off after 20 minutes on many models.⁵⁷ The We-Vibe spec tables we checked don't list one.

What this means for you: We-Vibe's terms are simpler and more consistent across its pages. LELO's 10-year quality guarantee sounds generous, but its own pages disagree on the length of the base warranty. Keep your receipt and screenshot the terms on the day you buy from either brand. Neither "guarantee" is a cash refund, so read the retailer's own return policy too if you buy from a third-party shop.

Apps

We-Vibe app. The app has two main sections: Toys, for controlling your toy directly, and Long Distance Play, for handing control to a partner. Features include 12 preset vibration patterns, custom patterns, a "Touch Mode" that follows your fingertip, playlists, and chat and video calls for long-distance play.⁴

LELO app. LELO describes its app as "a multipurpose sexual wellness hub" with "more than 4,000 articles". It also gives "greater control over our app-connected devices".⁵

Lube advice from both brands

This is where the brands' fine print matters most:

LELO: the TOR 3 manual says that using it "with hand creams or silicone-based lubricants may make the silicone permanently tacky".⁶ LELO recommends a water-based lubricant for SONA 2.⁷
We-Vibe: the Pivot manual says "Do not use with silicone lubricants because they will damage the product". It recommends We-Vibe Lube (made by pjur) or another water-based lubricant.¹⁵

Which should you choose?

Choose We-Vibe if you want: - one consistent 2-year warranty and a longer 100-day try-it window - an app built around long-distance play, with chat and video - IP-rated waterproofing (IPX7) listed in the specs

Choose LELO if you want: - published noise ceilings (50–60 dB on the models we checked) and motor frequencies - an explicit ISO 3533 safety claim - motion-controlled remotes (SenseMotion) or longer wand run times (Smart Wand 2 Large: up to 4 h)

Whichever you choose, check where you're buying. Both guarantees apply to purchases from the brands' own shops, and third-party retailers have their own return rules.
