We-Vibe Sync O vs We-Vibe Chorus: Which Couples Vibrator Fits You?
Quick answer: both are wearable C-shaped couples vibrators from We-Vibe. Both are made of body-safe silicone, are IPX7 waterproof and work with the We-Vibe app. Pick Sync O for the longer listed run time (150 vs 90 minutes) and a flexible O-shaped inner loop designed to keep it in place. Pick Chorus for the pressure-sensitive "Squeeze" remote and "Touch-sense" modes that respond to movement. Its listed run time is shorter, and its remote is only splash-proof.12
This is a research-based comparison. Every spec below comes from We-Vibe's US product pages, checked on 25 October 2026. We haven't hands-on tested either product.

Prices change often and differ between the US, Canadian and UK stores. Treat the prices above as a snapshot and confirm before you buy.
The core difference: how each one stays in place
Both toys follow the same basic idea. One arm sits inside and one rests outside against the clitoris. Partners can wear the toy during intercourse so the vibration is shared. The difference is in how each design tries to stay where you put it.
Sync O replaces the solid inner arm of earlier C-shapes with a flexible O-shaped silicone loop. We-Vibe says the loop "holds Sync O steady without being intrusive or distracting". It also says the outer arm is adjustable "for a comfortable fit for any body".1 The page cites a voluntary WOW Tech survey of 35 experienced couples in Germany in 2023. In it, 85% agreed the shape significantly improved their experience.1 Keep in mind that this is a small, manufacturer-run survey, not an independent study.
Chorus takes a different route. Its fit is adjustable, and We-Vibe says it "stays in position once you've found the perfect fit".2 Chorus doesn't advertise a loop. Instead it leans on its controls (see below).
What this means for you: if earlier C-shaped toys slipped out of position for you, Sync O's loop is the feature built specifically for that problem. If fit hasn't been an issue and you're more interested in how the toy is controlled, Chorus's features are the bigger draw.
Controls: simple remote vs Squeeze and Touch-sense
This is where the two products differ most.
- Sync O can be controlled three ways: a single button on the toy, the included We-Vibe remote, or the We-Vibe app. You cycle through vibration modes and intensity levels with any of them.1
- Chorus comes with a Squeeze remote. We-Vibe says "the tighter you squeeze, the stronger the vibration gets." It also has Touch-sense, touch-sensitive receptors under the logo that let "your movements control the vibrations". The app offers three Touch-sense modes.2
We-Vibe lists 10 named vibration modes for Chorus (Low, Medium, High, Pulse, Wave, Ultra, Echo, Tide, Surf, Crest), plus bonus modes in the app.2 The Sync O page doesn't list a mode count, so we can't compare the two on that point.
One practical detail for Chorus: We-Vibe says the Squeeze remote is "the anchor between Chorus and the We-Vibe app". You need to keep it nearby whenever you use the app.2 If you mainly want long-distance app control, keep that in mind.
Battery and charging
Going by the listed specs, Sync O has the clear edge:
- Sync O: up to 150 minutes run time, 90 minutes to charge, USB rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery.1
- Chorus: up to 90 minutes run time. It charges in a charging case that "fully charges the device in approximately 120 minutes".2
Real-world run time depends on intensity. Manufacturers usually quote best-case figures, so treat both numbers as upper limits rather than guarantees.
Waterproofing and cleaning
Both toys are rated IPX7. Under the IEC 60529 standard, that means protection against temporary immersion: tested for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 metre for small devices.4 In practice, that rating lets We-Vibe call them bath- and shower-friendly.12
The catch for Chorus: its remote is only splash-proof, not waterproof.2 Keep it out of the bath.
For cleaning, We-Vibe recommends washing its products with We-Vibe Clean or soap and water after every use. It says a 10% bleach solution can be used if you want, and warns not to boil them, put them in the dishwasher, or expose them to temperatures above body temperature.3 See our full toy cleaning guide.
Materials and body safety
Both products list body-safe silicone and say they're made without phthalates, BPA or latex. Chorus also lists ABS, a hard plastic, in its materials.12 Neither page mentions a third-party safety certification. For background on why material matters, see our guide to body-safe toy materials.
Lubricant compatibility
We-Vibe recommends its own We-Vibe Lube (made by pjur) "or another high-quality, water-based lubricant" with its products.3 If you use condoms too, water-based lubricant is also the safe choice with every condom type, according to the NHS.5 Our lube guide has more detail.
What's in the box
- Sync O: the toy, a USB cable, a quick-start guide, an instruction manual, a storage bag and the new We-Vibe remote.1
- Chorus: the toy, a charging case, a storage pouch, a quick-start guide, an instruction manual and a 2 mL We-Vibe Lube (pjur) sample. A Positions Playbook is included with some colours only.2
Who should pick which?
Choose Sync O if:
- Staying in place is your top priority. The flexible O-loop is designed for exactly that.
- You want the longest listed run time of the two (150 minutes).
- You like simple controls: a button, a basic remote, or the app.
Choose Chorus if:
- You like the idea of a remote that responds to how hard you squeeze, or vibration that responds to movement.
- You can live with a 90-minute listed run time and charging through a case.
- You'll keep the remote away from water.
Consider neither if:
- You want something cheaper and simpler. See our best couples vibrators roundup, which includes We-Vibe's lower-priced Sync Go and Sync Lite.
- You have a silicone sensitivity. Both are silicone-bodied, so talk to a clinician first.
Warranty and returns
Both list a 2-year warranty. The US store also advertises a "100 day Pleasure Guarantee".12 Check the current terms on the store for your country before you buy, because guarantees and retailers differ.
The bottom line
Going only by what We-Vibe publishes, Sync O is the more practical pick: longer run time, a fit-focused design, and a fully waterproof toy with a simple remote. Chorus is the more interactive pick, if pressure-sensitive and movement-responsive control appeals to you more than battery life.
